Project Information
Objective: Complete the Ring Road 2 alignment by connecting ongoing segments, closing the critical belt route, alleviating traffic congestion at the Eastern gateway, and enhancing Ho Chi Minh City’s urban infrastructure capacity.
Scope of Works:
- Construct 22 parallel carriageways (ROW: 67 m), each 18 m wide with 3 traffic lanes.
- Build 2 approach ramps for Duong Xuong Bridge on the parallel roads, each 18 m wide with 3 lanes.
- Develop the Bình Thái Interchange as a full cloverleaf configuration, integrated with an underpass on Vo Nguyen Giap parallel road to ensure uninterrupted traffic flow.
- Complete intersections with D2 Street, Duong Dinh Hoi, Tang Nhon Phu, and associated technical infrastructure on both sides in compliance with urban road standards.
Total Investment: Over VND 2,653 billion.
Schedule: Groundbreaking on December 19, 2025; expected completion in Q2/2027.
